Essex Book Festival 2017: Local Authors’ Day Saturday 18th March
On Saturday 18th March, at Chelmsford library, the Essex Book Festival hosted a Local Authors’ Day, including workshops, readings by 35 local writers, with stalls and signing sessions throughout the day.
I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the event, opening the readings at 10am and following with a talk on writing for young adults at midday, before dashing to Southend-on-Sea to take part in another Essex Book Festival event, the Southend Area Local Authors’ Day.
