Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan April 2026

A collection of photos taken while walking across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan to Dumbo in April of this year. The late morning sun allowed clear images northwards, towards Manhattan. I had to tweak the photo of the guy with the box camera on the bridge to make him visible against the bright sky.

I believe the classic car in the final picture is a Pontiac, taken in Dumbo. I was fortunate to have the time to take it while the driver performed a U-turn.

My favourite is the penultimate photo, of the George Washington Bridge, viewed from a side road in Dumbo.
